Job Summary
We are seeking a
Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer with strong experience in
Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and customization. The candidate will work on implementing, enhancing, and supporting PolicyCenter solutions for insurance clients. The role involves configuration, integration, and development using
Gosu, Guidewire Studio, and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and configure Guidewire PolicyCenter components such as:
- Product Model
- PCF (Page Configuration Format)
- Workflows
- Business Rules
- Typelists
- Data Model extensions
- Customize PolicyCenter using Gosu programming language.
- Implement UI changes using PCF files.
- Configure rating, underwriting, and policy lifecycle features.
- Develop integrations with external systems using SOAP/REST APIs.
- Participate in Guidewire upgrades and version migrations.
- Write unit tests and support SIT/UAT testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, QA, and Architects to deliver solutions.
- Follow Agile/Scrum development practices.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration.
- Proficiency in Gosu.
- Experience with PCF, Workflows, Business Rules, and Data Model.
- Knowledge of Integration patterns (SOAP/REST services).
- Experience using Guidewire Studio.
- Understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git/SVN).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter or Guidewire BillingCenter.
- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Knowledge of Java and Spring frameworks.
Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or related field.
