Key Responsibilities
Develop and Customize Jutro Applications:
Build and customize applications using the Jutro framework (based on React) for Guidewire Digital portals like ProducerEngage and CustomerEngage.
UI/UX Development
Create responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces for digital experiences.
Integration
Integrate with Guidewire APIs (like Edge APIs) and other systems, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
Collaboration
Work closely with UX designers, product owners, and back-end developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Agile Practices
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews.
Troubleshooting And Support
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the digital stack, including UI, middleware, and integration layers.
Code Quality
Ensure high-quality code through reviews, test automation, and CI/CD practices.
Mentorship
May mentor junior developers and contribute to improving development processes.
Required Skills And Experience
- Guidewire Jutro: Strong proficiency in the Jutro framework and its integration with Guidewire products.
- React: Solid experience with React (including Hooks and Functional Components) and JavaScript.
- UI/UX: Experience with building user interfaces, including responsive design and accessibility.
- API Integration: Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating with various systems.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Guidewire Products: Familiarity with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter is often required.
- Edge APIs: Experience with Guidewire Edge APIs and DTO mapping.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Java, Object-Oriented programming, and Gosu scripting is often preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
