Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
Lead Guidewire Business Analyst to drive business requirement analysis and solution design for large-scale Guidewire InsuranceSuite implementations (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of
P&C insurance processes, experience with Guidewire applications, and proven ability to lead requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and end-to-end business analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business requirement workshops with clients, SMEs, and stakeholders to gather functional and non-functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria in an Agile environment.
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Analyze and document business workflows, rules, and integration points within Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
- Collaborate with configuration and integration teams to design scalable Guidewire solutions.
- Drive backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirement prioritization for Agile delivery.
- Validate functional designs and ensure traceability of requirements through the development lifecycle.
- Conduct system demos, requirement walkthroughs, and support UAT.
- Mentor junior Client and guide cross-functional teams in business analysis best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of Business Analysis experience, with at least 8 + years in P&C insurance.
- Minimum 8 + years of Guidewire InsuranceSuite experience (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).
- Strong understanding of insurance business processes (Policy, Billing, Claims, Underwriting, Rating, Distribution).
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA/Confluence, and user story writing.
- Excellent skills in requirement elicitation, gap analysis, process modeling, and documentation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams.
- Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models preferred.
- Guidewire Business Analyst Certification is a plus.
