Guidewire Functional Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Manual QA Testing:
• Perform manual functional testing of Guidewire applications, ensuring that the system behaves as expected.
• Design, execute, and report on test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
• Test Documentation:
• Document test cases, results, defects, and progress to ensure transparency in the testing process.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to refine and validate requirements.
• Integration Testing:
• While not mandatory, experience with integration testing is highly desirable to ensure the Guidewire system interacts seamlessly with other applications and services.
• Collaboration and Reporting:
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to communicate testing progress and issues.
• Provide regular updates and defect reports to ensure the timely resolution of identified issues.
• Problem Solving:
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report software defects and issues, ensuring that they are resolved before moving to production.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 5-7 years of experience in functional testing with a focus on Guidewire applications.
• Skills: Proven experience in manual QA testing; integration testing is a nice-to-have.
• Strong understanding of QA processes and test case creation.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams.
