Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and configure Guidewire applications such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using SOAP/REST APIs.
• Write and debug code using Java, GOSU, and SQL.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot and Generative AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance productivity.
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure solution quality.
• Provide support for QA and production environments.
• Analyse and resolve complex software issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where applicable.

Requirements:

• 3–8 years of hands-on implementation experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
• Proficiency in Gosu, Java, XML, and XSLT.
• Experience with Guidewire Studio, Rules, Workflows, and Data Model.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI pair programming tools.
• Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or building internal GenAI tools.
• Understanding of Generative AI concepts and their application in software development.
• Familiarity with SmartCOMM, GhostDraft, or similar document generation platforms.
• Knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance, including both commercial and personal lines.
• Experience with Agile tools like Jira and version control systems like SVN.
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and mathematical skills.
