Guidewire Developer

Description

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 3-8 years of experience working with Guidewire products and be familiar with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter. The candidate should be able to work independently and in a team environment and should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Guidewire software solutions using PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter
• Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain Guidewire integrations with third-party systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Guidewire software
• Work with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality standards are met

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-8 years of experience in Guidewire development
• Strong knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter
• Experience with Java and J2EE technologies
• Experience with web services (SOAP and REST)
• Experience with Guidewire Gosu programming language
• Experience with Guidewire configuration
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of insurance industry is a plus
