The ideal candidate will have strong presentation skills which will enable them to clearly present solutions to clients. They should be comfortable conducting research and analysis in order to establish a good understanding of the business at hand. They should have an interest in examining and streamlining processes in order to make them more efficient.
Must Have
- 5+ years of experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter as a Business Analyst
- Strong understanding of claims lifecycle, exposures, financial transactions, reserves, and payments
- Experience working on State Roll Out projects
- Experience in requirements gathering, functional documentation, and impact analysis
- Ability to create BRD, FRS, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Good understanding of P&C Insurance and claims operations
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams
Good to Have
- Experience working with Michigan MCCA (Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association) requirements, reporting, or claim handling processes
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
- Guidewire certifications
- Experience with UAT support and test coordination.
