Job Description

The ideal candidate will have strong presentation skills which will enable them to clearly present solutions to clients. They should be comfortable conducting research and analysis in order to establish a good understanding of the business at hand. They should have an interest in examining and streamlining processes in order to make them more efficient.

Must Have

  • 5+ years of experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter as a Business Analyst
  • Strong understanding of claims lifecycle, exposures, financial transactions, reserves, and payments
  • Experience working on State Roll Out projects
  • Experience in requirements gathering, functional documentation, and impact analysis
  • Ability to create BRD, FRS, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Good understanding of P&C Insurance and claims operations
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams

Good to Have

  • Experience working with Michigan MCCA (Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association) requirements, reporting, or claim handling processes
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
  • Guidewire certifications
  • Experience with UAT support and test coordination.
