Job Title – Guidewire Billing Developer

Experience - 03 - 08 years

Job Location - Greater Noida, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore & Hyderabad

Mandatory Skill - Property & Casualty, P&C, Insurance, BillingCenter configuration & customization, GOSU, XML, JSON, Accounts, Charges, Guidewire Cloud, Guidewire BillingCenter (v7–v10 or Guidewire Cloud).

We at Coforge are hiring an experienced Guidewire BillingCenter with strong hands-on experience in Guidewire BillingCenter and a solid understanding of P&C insurance billing processes. The role involves configuration, customization, integrations, and support of BillingCenter applications across environments.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Guidewire & Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire BillingCenter (v7–v10 / Guidewire Cloud)
• Proficient in Gosu programming (rules, enhancements, plugins)
• Experience with BillingCenter configuration & customization
• Accounts, Policies, Invoices, Charges
• Payment Plans, Payments, Delinquencies, Write-offs
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire Studio
• Strong knowledge of Guidewire Messaging Framework

Integrations

• Experience with SOAP & REST web services
• Integrations between:
• BillingCenter ↔ PolicyCenter
• BillingCenter ↔ ClaimCenter
• External systems (Payment Gateway, GL, CRM)
• Working knowledge of XML, XSD, JSON

Database & Batch Processing

• Strong SQL skills (Oracle / SQL Server)
• Understanding of BillingCenter data model
• Experience with batch processes, performance tuning, and troubleshooting

P&C Insurance Domain (Mandatory)

• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance
• End-to-end billing concepts:
• Premium calculation
• Invoicing & installments
• Collections & delinquency
• Refunds, reversals, and write-offs

SDLC & Support

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environment
• Exposure to build & deployment (ANT / Maven / CI-CD)
• Experience with production support, defect resolution, and RCA
• Ability to work across DEV, QA, UAT, and PROD environments

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Guidewire BillingCenter components
• Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems
• Participate in requirement analysis and technical design discussions
• Perform unit testing and support system/integration testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve billing issues in lower and production environments
• Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and other Guidewire teams
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

Good to Have

• Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP)
• Guidewire BillingCenter Certification
• Exposure to multi-currency / multi-country billing
• Unix/Linux basic command knowledge

Education / Qualification: BE/ B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc. / M.CA / M.TECH / Any Graduate.
