Role Description
We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused Guest Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and delivering exceptional service throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities :
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, prep areas, and storage spaces.
- Ensure proper waste disposal, recycling, and adherence to sanitation guidelines.
- Restock clean dishes, glassware, and kitchen tools in designated areas.
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies and kitchen inventory.
- Operate dishwashing machines and follow proper cleaning procedures.
- Support chefs and cooks by providing necessary equipment in a timely manner.
- Follow all safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Perform occasional food prep tasks as assigned (depending on workplace).
Skills :
- Previous experience in a stewarding or kitchen helper role preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
- Basic communication skills.
- Ability to stand, lift, and carry items for extended periods.
