Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a GST Executive, based in Mumbai. The GST Executive will be responsible for preparing and filing GST returns, managing GST compliance, handling reconciliations, reviewing tax invoices, and addressing GST-related queries. The role also involves staying updated with regulatory changes, assisting with GST audits by department, attending notices, visiting department and coordinating with clients and the internal team to manage filing deadlines and provide resolutions to GST issues.

Qualifications

• Reasonable knowledge of GST laws, regulations, and compliance processes
• Proficiency in preparing and filing GST returns and managing reconciliations
• Understanding of indirect taxation and its application to businesses
• Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client and team interactions
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools
• Semi Qualified Professional or a Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications in taxation or accounting are a plus
• Prior experience in a similar role in a CA firm is must
