About the Role :

We are hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to own Propel AI's demand generation engine end to end. Your north star metric is qualified discovery calls booked per month. Everything you do, every channel you build, every piece of content you publish, ladders up to that number.

This is not a run some ads and see what sticks role. We need someone who can build $0 organic growth systems first, then layer paid on top. If you have scaled a B2B SaaS company's pipeline by being scrappy, resourceful, and relentlessly execution-focused, keep reading.

Channels You Will Own :

  • LinkedIn: Organic content, social selling, founder-led thought leadership support, and community engagement targeting lifecycle/retention marketing buyers.
  • X (Twitter): Building presence in the email marketing, CRM, and lifecycle automation conversation. Real-time engagement with prospects, partners, and industry voices.
  • Reddit: Active presence in subreddits like r/emailmarketing, r/ecommerce, r/SaaS, and r/startups. Providing value-first answers that build brand authority and drive inbound.
  • YouTube: Planning, scripting, and producing short-form and long-form content around lifecycle marketing strategy, platform tutorials, and client case studies.
  • Google Ads: Running targeted search and display campaigns for high-intent lifecycle marketing keywords. This is the paid layer, not the foundation.
  • Klaviyo Community: Active participation in the Klaviyo Partner ecosystem, forums, and community channels to generate referral pipeline and establish Propel AI as a go-to implementation partner.

The $0 Growth Playbook (Core Competency)

We expect you to have built organic demand gen engines before. The playbook includes, but is not limited to:

  • Community-led growth: Showing up daily on Reddit, LinkedIn, X, and Klaviyo Community with value-first comments and answers.-
  • Content-to-pipeline: Writing and distributing blog posts, playbooks, and gated assets that convert traffic into booked calls.-
  • Social selling: Identifying and engaging ICP prospects through warm outreach, not spam.
  • Partnership leverage: Using Propel AI's Customer.io and Klaviyo partnerships to access co-marketing, referral, and community channels.
  • Scrappy outbound: Building targeted prospect lists, writing personalised outreach sequences, and booking meetings without a massive tech stack.
  • SEO and AEO: Driving organic search visibility and optimising for AI engine outputs (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) to build brand presence in LLM-generated recommendations.

What You Will Be Measured On :

  • Qualified discovery calls booked per month (primary KPI).
  • Pipeline value generated from marketing-sourced leads.
  • Channel-level traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics.
  • Content output velocity and distribution reach.
  • Cost per qualified meeting (target: as close to $0 as possible).
  • Speed of experimentation: how quickly you test, learn, and double down on what works.

Requirements :

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in B2B SaaS growth marketing, demand generation, or a comparable pipeline-focused role.
  • Proven track record of marketing to or selling into the US SMB market. You understand the buying behaviour, sales cycles, and decision-making patterns of small-to-mid-sized US companies.
  • Hands-on experience building $0 or near-$0 growth channels (organic social, community, content, scrappy outbound). You have done this before, not just theorised about it.
  • Strong writing skills. You can produce LinkedIn posts, blog articles, Reddit comments, and outreach copy that sounds human and drives action.
  • Familiarity with lifecycle marketing, CRM, or marketing automation platforms (Customer.io, Klaviyo, Braze, HubSpot, or similar). You do not need to be an operator, but you must understand the space deeply enough to market it.
  • Experience with Google Ads or paid search is a plus, but organic-first mindset is non-negotiable.
  • Self-starter. You do not wait for a brief. You find the opportunity, build the plan, and execute.

Nice to Have :

  • Prior experience at a marketing agency or services company selling to US-based clients.
  • Familiarity with tools like Apollo, Clay, Phantom Buster, Lemlist, or similar outbound/automation tools.
  • Experience with SEO, AEO (AI Engine Optimisation), or content-driven pipeline strategies.
  • Video scripting or YouTube channel growth experience.
