Role Overview
Pinkvilla is looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to lead scalable, non-paid growth initiatives for the Pinkvilla App.
This role is focused purely on organic growth driving user acquisition, activation, retention, and engagement without reliance on paid marketing or external partnerships. The ideal candidate understands how to build sustainable growth loops using content, product, community, SEO, and experimentation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Organic User Acquisition
- Drive organic App installs through Pinkvilla's web, social, YouTube, and owned ecosystems.
- Develop high-converting in-content CTAs, smart banners, and App prompts.
- Create structured referral and invite-led growth mechanisms.
- Improve App Store Optimization (ASO) and discoverability.
Product-Led Growth & Activation
- Work closely with Product and Tech teams to optimize onboarding journeys.
- Identify funnel drop-offs and implement structured growth experiments.
- Improve install-to-signup and activation conversion rates.
- Drive feature discovery and adoption through in-app storytelling.
Content-Led Growth
- Collaborate with Editorial and Video teams to build App-exclusive hooks.
- Design habit-forming content formats that drive repeat visits.
- Leverage viral and shareable mechanics to increase organic reach.
- Align App growth initiatives with tentpole and IP moments.
Retention & Engagement
- Develop lifecycle journeys including push notifications and in-app messaging.
- Improve DAU/MAU ratio, session depth, and user frequency.
- Drive repeat usage through gamification, polls, comments, streaks, and community features.
- Analyze cohort behavior to improve long-term retention.
Experimentation & Analytics
- Build and execute structured A/B testing frameworks.
- Track activation, retention, stickiness, and engagement metrics.
- Translate insights into actionable product and content improvements.
- Continuously optimize organic funnels.
Candidate Profile
- 69 years of experience in Growth Marketing, Organic Growth, or App Growth roles.
- Proven experience scaling an App through non-paid channels.
- Strong understanding of product-led growth and retention strategies.
- Experience working with content-led platforms or media ecosystems preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experimentation experience.
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior, especially Gen Z audiences (preferred).
- Familiarity with AI-driven growth tools and automation platforms is an added advantage.
