Role Description
Growth Manager - Central Growth Team (Pan India)
This role is designed for individuals who think and operate at a national level. It is not intended for regionally constrained or mid-impact execution. The expectation is to build, scale, and manage partnerships with a pan-India perspective, contributing to a unified national footprint.
JustVend is building a national footprint across premium institutions. This role sits at the center of that effort, working directly with the Founders, CXOs, and Growth Director to drive institutional partnerships and long-term collaborations.
The mandate is to establish and scale high-value relationships with leading institutions, ensuring structured expansion across regions.
What You Will Own
• Drive institutional expansion through structured, on-ground growth sprints (1.5–2.5 months)
• Build and manage a pipeline of strategic institutional partnerships
• Lead end-to-end engagement with institutions — from initial outreach and relationship building to agreement finalisation
• Anchor partnerships with Tier-1 institutions, including
• Indian Institutes of Management
• Indian Institute of Science
• Amity University
• Engage with senior stakeholders (administration, operations, leadership) and navigate institutional decision-making frameworks
• Ensure long-term value creation through sustained relationships post partnership closure
What This Role Requires
• Prior experience working with high-reputation universities, colleges, or large hostel/PG chains, with exposure to institutional partnerships
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage long-term stakeholder relationships, not just transactional closures
• High degree of professional polish and executive presence
• Strong understanding of business, economics, and partnership structures
• Ability to operate independently in unstructured environments with a bias for outcomes
• Willingness to travel extensively (9 months annually)
What This Role Is Not
• Not a transactional or short-cycle sales role
• Not limited to lead generation or backend coordination
• Not suited for candidates looking for structured, low-ownership environments
Operating Environment
• Lean, high-performance team with direct access to leadership
• High autonomy with clear accountability for outcomes
• Execution-driven culture with emphasis on long-term value creation
Compensation
• CTC: ₹8–10 LPA
• All travel, accommodation, and meals covered during on-ground assignment
Learning & Exposure
• Direct exposure to engaging and managing relationships with high-profile institutional stakeholders
• Opportunity to understand and execute market entry and expansion strategies across new regions in India
• Hands-on experience in planning and driving on-ground execution in unstructured, high-ownership environments
• Front-row involvement in scaling a startup from early growth stage to a national footprint (10 to 100)
• Close working relationship with founders and leadership, with visibility into strategic decision-making and execution
