Job Description

About CuePrep

There are hundreds of high-stakes exams in the world. Behind each one is someone whose next chapter depends on passing. The tools available to them are almost universally bad. Expensive courses recycling the same question banks for a decade. Flashcard apps with no opinion on what matters for a specific exam. AI-powered tools that sticker a chatbot on and call it personalized. Apps that claim spaced repetition but botch the intervals and ignore everything cognitive science says about retention.

CuePrep starts from the other end: what does this exam test, how does this student need to retain it, and what's the fastest path to ready That answer is different for Bar than for SAT Math than for NCLEX. We build for each one specifically.

CuePrep is a product line inside CueLearn, the company behind Cuemath.

About the Role

This role exists because AI tooling has collapsed the distance between product, growth, and distribution. What used to require a PM, a growth marketer, and a content strategist coordinating across sprints can now be one person with good judgment, the right tools, and the ability to ship. That's what we're hiring.

You'll own multiple CuePrep exams. For each one, you decide what to build, how to grow it, and how to reach students. You raise PRs in the codebase: landing pages, paywall experiments, product surfaces. You coordinate with a paired content creator who owns reach for the same exams. You context-switch across your portfolio daily, because each exam has a different audience, a different conversion problem, and a different set of levers.

The core of the job is figuring out what to build next. That means living inside your students world. Reddit threads, TikTok comments, Discord servers, user interviews. Turning what you hear into the next experiment that moves a number. Empathy for how a Bar taker studies differently from an NCLEX nurse is the skill. Shipping the thing that helps them is the output.

About You

  • You know what to build. You can separate signal from noise in user feedback, competitor teardowns, and forum threads.
  • You listen obsessively. Subreddits, TikTok comments, support tickets, user calls. You build a mental model of your student and solve from there.
  • You ship code. Comfortable raising PRs in a Next.js codebase, or demonstrably fast at picking it up.
  • You context-switch fast. Owning multiple exams means switching audiences, funnels, and priorities multiple times a day without losing depth on any of them.
  • You're AI-native. Claude, Cursor, v0 are how you work, not things you've heard of.
  • You write fast and well. Reddit reply, ad headline, paywall copy. All in your voice.

Bonus If You

  • Have founded or operated something (a SaaS, a creator business, a tutoring practice) that you grew yourself.
  • Have a background that maps to one of our exam groups (lawyer, finance professional, language learner, ex-tutor).
  • Have a public artifact we can find: a side project, a teardown thread, a newsletter, a YouTube channel.
