AthleteCo - a sports and wellness based startup in New Delhi - is on a mission to make movement accessible, playful and holistic for busy urban lives.

We're building a flagship B2C sports and wellness event in March 2026 and are looking for people who want real responsibility, real learning, and real execution experience not just desk work.

Role Overview

As a Growth andPartnerships Executive, you will help bring brands into the event through sponsorships, stalls, integrations and experiences and ensure they get high visibility through smooth on-ground execution.

This role blends sales, business development, and creativity. Comfort with cold calls, follow-ups, and rejection is essential.

Responsibilities

Pre-event: Planning & Preparation

  • Research and shortlist relevant brands, sponsors, and stall partners
  • Reach out to brands and pitch the event to potential partners
  • Coordinate discussions around sponsorships, stalls, and in-kind partnerships
  • Work with the Founder to finalize partner deliverables and expectations
  • Share clear requirements with the Ops team for stall setup and logistics
  • Ensure all brand assets, requirements, and approvals are collected in advance
  • Track outreach and follow-ups in a shared tracker
  • Own partner communication end-to-end, not just introductions
  • Ensure commitments convert into actual on-ground presence

Event Day: On-ground Execution

  • Coordinate setup of brand stalls and activations
  • Welcome brand representatives and ensure smooth onboarding at the venue
  • Ensure all agreed deliverables (visibility, placement, announcements, etc.) are executed
  • Act as the first point of contact for partner issues and requests
  • Coordinate in real time with the Ops team for power, space, signage, or changes
  • Ensure brand representatives have a positive experience throughout the event
  • Troubleshoot last-minute challenges quickly and professionally
  • Capture notes and feedback from partners for post-event follow-ups

Who We're Looking For

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in growth, business development, partnerships/sponsorships (final-year students (light semester) OR fresh graduates may be considered, but priority will be given to those with practical experience)
  • Background in business development, marketing, BBA/BMS or agency internships preferred
  • Comfortable speaking to brands and following up persistently
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Can commit full-time till the March event
  • Interested in events, sports, marketing, or partnerships

Commitment & Compensation

  • Duration: 8 weeks (FebMarch)
  • Type: Full-time; in-person
  • Compensation: INR 15,000 per month + Incentives per closed partnership (Negotiable based on experience and fit)
  • Location: Delhi NCR (on-ground)
  • Start Date: Immediate

High performers may be considered for full-time roles post-event.

Non-Negotiable

This role requires complete, full-time availability till the end of March.
