Group Product Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the end-to-end product strategy for risk management and fraud prevention systems at Cashfree Payments.
• Build and lead a team of product managers across KYC/AML, transaction risk, chargebacks, and compliance automation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and data science teams to design ML-based risk models, rule engines, and real-time decisioning systems.
• Define and execute a product roadmap focused on improving detection accuracy, reducing false positives, and enhancing overall system performance.
• Partner with compliance, legal, and operations teams to ensure regulatory readiness, auditability, and policy adherence.
• Translate business risk objectives into clear, measurable product outcomes and success metrics.
• Work cross-functionally with leadership to align on risk appetite, thresholds, and mitigation strategies.
• Continuously analyze fraud trends, attack patterns, and emerging threats to proactively strengthen Cashfree's defense mechanisms.
• Represent the Risk Product function in strategic planning, OKR setting, and leadership forums.

What We're Looking For

• 812 years of total experience, with 3+ years leading product teams.
• Proven experience building or scaling risk, fraud prevention, compliance, or security products in fintech, payments, or lending environments.
• Strong understanding of transaction risk, chargebacks, KYC/AML, and fraud detection frameworks.
• Hands-on exposure to ML models, rule engines, and data-driven decisioning systems.
• Demonstrated success in building product roadmaps, defining metrics, and shipping large-scale risk platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor product managers while influencing engineering and data science teams.
• Experience with SQL, dashboards, and data analysis tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.) is a plus.
