7–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or animal health marketing
Strong exposure to veterinary product marketing and brand management
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing, Portfolio & Team Management
- Lead and mentor Product Managers and Marketing executives
- Develop and implement long-term marketing strategies for veterinary products across livestock, poultry, and companion animal segments
- Plan annual marketing plans aligned with sales and business objectives
- Manage product lifecycle including planning, positioning, and portfolio expansion
- Identify new product opportunities and market gaps in the veterinary segment
- Brand Management :
- Manage product lifecycle from launch to maturity
- Plan and execute product launches including promotional campaigns
- Develop product positioning and messaging
- Conduct Product Training for the Sales Team
- Develop marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and digital initiatives
- Market Intelligence & Business Insights
- Conduct competitive analysis and market segmentation
- Generate insights to support strategic decision-making
- Analyze sales data and market performance to drive strategic decisions
- Recommend pricing strategies and growth initiatives
- Conduct customer research with veterinarians, farmers, and clinics
- Sales & Field Force Support
- Collaborate and work closely with the sales team and regional managers/zonal managers/NSM on regular basis to ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies
- Work with sales team minimum 6 days in a month at field level
- Conduct product training and marketing orientation for the field force
- Support key customer engagement initiatives with veterinarians and distributors
- Track campaign performance and support sales growth
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), veterinarians, and veterinary institutions
- Represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and veterinary forums
- Budget & Performance Management
- Manage marketing budgets and promotional expenses
- Track brand performance, market share, and ROI of marketing initiative
- Education background:
- BVSc/BPharma/ Life Science / Agriculture
- MBA in Marketing preferred
