Role Overview

As a Green Building Consultant, you'll work across interdisciplinary projects, helping clients meet sustainability goals through certifications, simulations, and strategic design integration.

Responsibilities

• Support green building certifications (EDGE, IGBC, LEED, WELL)
• Conduct basic building simulations (energy, daylighting, lighting)
• Interpret energy codes and standards (ASHRAE, ECBC, ECC)
• Collaborate with design teams and manage sustainability integration
• Review construction drawings and specifications
• Manage projects, timelines, budgets, and client relationships
• Communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years of experience/training in green building roles
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and decision-making skills
• Self-motivated with a growth mindset

Preferred:

• Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Mechanical/Electrical/Building Systems Engineering, or Sustainability
• Experience with life-cycle assessment and sustainability reporting
• Prior project management on sustainability-focused builds
• Green Building Credentials (LEED GA/AP, EDGE Expert, IGBC AP)
