Job Summary
The GRC Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the ServiceNow GRC platform within our organization. With a focus on Retail Banking the candidate will ensure compliance and risk management processes are streamlined and effective. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work closely with various departments to enhance our governance framework contributing to the overall success and integrity of the company.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage the ServiceNow GRC platform to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks within the Retail Banking domain
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Monitor compliance activities and provide regular reports to senior management to ensure transparency
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions
- Provide training and support to staff on GRC processes and the use of ServiceNow GRC tools
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in governance and risk management practices
- Ensure that all GRC activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure the security and integrity of the ServiceNow GRC platform
- Facilitate communication between departments to promote a culture of compliance and risk awareness
- Develop strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of GRC processes
- Support the development of business continuity plans to safeguard against potential disruptions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in GRC management
Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience in ServiceNow GRC demonstrating a deep understanding of its functionalities
- Have a strong background in Retail Banking with knowledge of its specific compliance and risk challenges
- Exhibit excellent analytical skills to assess risk and compliance data effectively
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to liaise with various departments and stakeholders
- Show proficiency in developing and implementing GRC policies and procedures
- Have a proven track record of conducting successful risk assessments and audits
- Display the ability to train and support staff in GRC processes and tools effectively.
