Job Title: Operations 6 to 10 years in Operations / Manufacturing / Supply MBA (Only Tier 1) with a Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
Job Summary
The Operations Manager will lead manufacturing operations, supply chain initiatives, and transformation programs to improve productivity, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
The role involves managing cross-functional teams, driving digital and process improvement initiatives, and ensuring seamless execution of strategic projects.
Key & Supply Chain Management
- Oversee end-to-end operations, including production planning, inventory control, procurement, logistics, and vendor performance.
- Track and improve KPIs such as OEE, cost per unit, OTIF, inventory turnover, and service levels.
Project & Transformation Leadership
- Lead greenfield, expansion, and operational improvement projects with strong governance and stakeholder alignment.
- Drive automation, MES, ERP, and Industry 4.0 initiatives to enhance visibility, traceability, and efficiency.
Cost Optimization & Vendor Management
- Identify and implement cost-reduction levers across opex, sourcing, logistics, and manufacturing.
- Lead supplier evaluation, negotiations, contract compliance, and performance improvement.
Process Excellence
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance quality.
- Drive a continuous improvement culture across operations.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with engineering, IT, quality, finance, and external partners for seamless execution.
- Support leadership with data-driven insights, dashboards, and performance reviews.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Strong program management and problem-solving skills
- Experience in manufacturing operations and supply chain analytics
- Exposure to digital transformation, AI/ML, and data-driven decision-making
- Lean / Six Sigma certification preferred
