Job Summary:

Veerayatan is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Visualiser to bring the organization's stories, programs, and impact to life through compelling visual communication.

The role involves designing engaging creatives for digital and print platforms, supporting campaigns, and ensuring a strong and consistent visual identity across all communication channels.

Key Responsibilities :

(A) Creative Design & Visual Storytelling:

  •  Design visually appealing creatives for social media, website, campaigns, and digital platforms
  •  Translate concepts, program narratives, and ideas into impactful visual stories
  •  Develop illustrations, infographics, and layouts that simplify complex information.

(B) Branding & Visual Identity:  

 

  •  Ensure consistency in brand guidelines, color palettes, typography, and design standards
  •  Strengthen Veerayatan's visual identity across all communication materials
  •  Contribute to evolving and enhancing the organization's creative direction

 

(C) Campaign & Communication Support:

  •  Collaborate with the content and social media team to design creatives for campaigns, events, and initiatives
  • Create posters, banners, brochures, and promotional materials
  • Support fundraising campaigns and donor communication creatives

 

 (D) Print & Publication Design:

  • Design layouts for annual reports, impact reports, newsletters, and publications
  • Ensure high-quality output for both digital and print formats
  •  Coordinate with vendors/printers when required

 

 (E) Multimedia & Basic Motion Graphics (Preferred):

  •  Create basic animations, reels, and motion graphics for digital platforms
  •   Edit images and support video teams with visual elements when needed

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  •  Bachelor's degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field
  •  2–5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in NGOs, social sector, or creative agencies
  •  Strong portfolio showcasing digital, print, and campaign creatives

 

Key Skills and Competencies:

  •  Strong proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, or similar
  •  Good understanding of layout design, typography, color theory, and composition
  •  Ability to think creatively and translate ideas into engaging visuals
  •  Attention to detail and adherence to brand consistency
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics/video editing tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro – preferred)
  •  Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
