How We Started

Founded in 2019, Uravu Labs was born out of a shared vision to address water scarcity issues, particularly inspired by the founders own experiences on the NIT Calicut campus during their studies. Driven by a passion for innovation and sustainability, Uravu Labs embarked on a mission to develop cutting-edge solutions that could extract water from the air using renewable energy sources. The company's journey began with the realization that existing methods were not entirely sustainable due to their heavy reliance on electricity and the use of refrigerants with high global warming potential. Determined to make a difference, the founders set out to create a solution that would be truly renewable and sustainable, resulting in groundbreaking technology that harnesses renewable energy to produce clean water from the air.

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and self-driven Junior Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will own the visual identity of our brand across digital and print — from crafting scroll-stopping social media content to designing high-impact materials for trade events and expos. If you are fluent in the Adobe Suite, excited by AI-powered creative tools, and have a sharp eye for aesthetics, we would love to meet you.

What You Will Do

  • Design and produce social media creatives for Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube including static posts, reels, stories, thumbnails, and channel art.
  • Create print-ready materials for events and expos: banners, standees, brochures, posters, and merchandise mockups.
  • Edit and produce short-form and long-form video content, including motion graphics for presentations and brand-consistent videos and testimonials.
  • Use AI image and video generation tools to ideate, prototype, and produce creative assets faster and at scale.
  • Lead in-house photography for product shoots, team photos, and event coverage.
  • Maintain and evolve brand consistency across all visual touchpoints — digital and physical.
  • Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously and deliver on tight deadlines without compromising quality.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in graphic design and video production
  • Strong portfolio showcasing social media, print, and video projects
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
  • Working knowledge of at least two AI image or video generation platform
  • Basic DSLR or mirrorless camera handling and photography skills
  • Understanding of design principles: typography, colour theory, layout, hierarchy
  • Ability to deliver print-ready files (bleed, colour profiles, resolution)
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with print and other vendors as well as clients

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Figma or Adobe XD for social templates
  • Familiarity with platform specs for Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Prior experience designing for industrial, B2B, or manufacturing brands
  • Video scriptwriting or storyboarding experience
  • Exposure to 3D tools like Blender or Cinema 3D
  • Understanding of brand identity systems and guidelines
