About The Role
The Graphic Specialist role is a vital position within the Artwork Production team at P&G, primarily focused on executing high-quality graphic designs and digital templates in alignment with brand standards and design intent. Reporting through the Artwork Production team in the AW DTP Platform, the specialist collaborates closely with Design Leaders and Brand teams to ensure that visual assets are accurately developed and adapted across various product forms and variants. This role requires a deep understanding of graphic file construction, brand identity, and regulatory style guidelines to maintain consistency and integrity of the brand across all packaging and digital assets.
The Graphic Specialist is responsible for producing digital templates, managing graphic adaptations, and ensuring that all artwork meets quality standards and visual consistency. They play a crucial role in maintaining the design intent when translating concepts into tangible assets, supporting the company's commitment to delivering superior printed packaging. The role involves managing projects within the WebCenter graphics lifecycle management tool, overseeing approval processes, executing quality control checks, and implementing design change management. The specialist also collaborates with color and pre-press teams, contributing to continual process improvements and cost efficiencies. Qualifications
Successful candidates should possess a degree in graphic design or a related field, complemented by 2-3 years of experience in graphic or print production. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is essential for executing design tasks effectively. A strong understanding of brand architecture, design language, and application of design principles is required to ensure visual consistency across multiple product variants and substrates.
Applicants should demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, along with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities to influence and collaborate within a matrixed team environment. Technical proficiency in compliance and quality assurance processes is critical, as is the ability to leverage innovation and technology to enhance workflows. A good eye for detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to process improvements are highly valued.
Additional qualifications include a Munsell Test score indicating at least Average Discrimination, with Superior Discrimination preferred, and a demonstrated ability to assess and adapt design concepts rapidly.
