Role Objective
The Graphic Designer will provide creative support for the production of a monthly newsletter and ad hoc design needs during a critical period when team members are on leave. This is a project-based role with a duration of two to three months (with potential for extension into a permanent position in the new year), requiring strong design expertise to deliver high-quality, professional outputs in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and produce monthly newsletters, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and stakeholder expectations.
- Create and edit presentations and other visual collateral using InDesign and PowerPoint.
- Support ad hoc graphic design requirements for the team, with flexibility for varying project scopes.
- Collaborate with team members via monday.com (project management) and SharePoint (documentation) to track tasks and maintain organized files.
- Deliver design samples and provide estimated completion times for assigned projects to support budgeting and workload planning.
- Provide original and finalized design versions.
- Occasionally assist with minor video editing tasks (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar) if needed, while core video work remains with the in-house team.
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing newsletter, presentation, and marketing collateral design.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and PowerPoint (essential for presentation work).
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as monday.com and SharePoint
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to provide accurate project duration estimates.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and the ability to adapt designs to different platforms.
- Industry-specific experience (e.g., corporate communications, marketing) is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Ability to commit to 20 per week for a project duration of 2–3 months, with flexibility for part-time or full-time arrangements.
