Graphic Designer

Role Description We're looking for a Graphic Designer to join Mika's Studio on a part-time, remote basis. You'll work on a variety of creative projects, primarily across brand identity, presentation design, packaging, and social media design. The role involves developing concepts, exploring visual directions, and creating thoughtful, well-crafted designs that communicate each brand effectively.

Your work may include:

• Brand identity and visual identity design
• Logo development and refinement
• Brand guidelines and brand applications
• Presentation and pitch deck design
• Packaging design
• Social media creatives and marketing materials
• Typography, layout, colour, and visual composition
• Preparing designs for print and digital applications
• Refining designs based on feedback while maintaining consistency and quality

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of design fundamentals, including typography, layout, colour, composition and visual hierarchy.
• Good conceptual and visual thinking with the ability to develop ideas independently.
• Strong interest in branding and visual identity design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; InDesign is a plus.
• Ability to create clean, thoughtful and consistent designs across different mediums.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to refine work based on feedback.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking and execution is essential.
