Department: Marketing / Brand / Creative
Experience: 1 to 3 Years (Portfolio is mandatory)
Role Overview
We're looking for a designer who cares deeply about craft, hierarchy, and brand consistency not just someone who can make posts.
If you understand why spacing matters, why typography carries tone, why colors shape perception, and how design influences decisions you'll fit right in.
This role focuses on creating high-quality visual communication across digital platforms for an education brand. You'll work on campaigns, social media, landing pages, ads, presentations, and brand assets ensuring everything looks intentional, cohesive, and contemporary.
What You'll Work On
- Social media creatives that don't look templated
- Performance ad visuals (static + motion-ready layouts)
- Website and landing page graphics
- Brand identity extensions and campaign visual systems
- Presentations, brochures, and marketing collaterals
- Event and offline materials when required
Key Responsibilities
Design & Execution
- Create visually strong, on-brand designs across digital and print
- Translate briefs into clean, purposeful layouts not cluttered compositions
- Maintain consistency across campaigns and touchpoints
- Adapt designs for multiple formats and platforms
Brand Thinking
- Apply brand guidelines thoughtfully not mechanically
- Understand tone, positioning, and audience while designing
- Help evolve the visual language as the brand grows
- Ensure visual consistency across departments and outputs
- Trend Awareness
- Stay updated with contemporary design styles, typography trends, and platform aesthetics
- Know when to follow trends and when not to
- Bring fresh visual ideas without compromising brand identity
Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, content, and performance teams
- Accept feedback constructively and iterate quickly
- Manage multiple tasks without compromising quality
- Tools & Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Basic familiarity with layout for digital platforms
- Understanding of typography, color systems, grids, and visual hierarchy
- Motion or video editing skills (After Effects / Premiere Pro) are a plus, not mandatory
What We're Looking For
- Strong Design Fundamentals
- Clean layouts, strong alignment, good spacing
- Thoughtful typography choices
- Sensitivity to visual balance and composition
- Attention to detail that shows in the final output
- Branding Sensibility
- Ability to design within a system, not just standalone pieces
- Understanding of how visuals build brand perception over time
- Capability to maintain consistency across campaigns
Portfolio Expectations
Your portfolio should demonstrate:
- Original work (not just template-based designs)
- Range across formats (social, digital, print, branding)
- Clear thinking behind visual choices
- Quality over quantity
- Academic projects, internships, or freelance work are all valid - as long as the craft is evident.
Who Will Thrive in This Role
- Designers who observe everyday visuals - packaging, interfaces, ads, signage
- People who notice bad kerning immediately
- Those who care about details even when no one points them out
- Designers who want to build real-world brand experience, not just accumulate files
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field (preferred, not mandatory)
- Freshers welcome; up to 2 years of experience also suitable
- Portfolio submission is required for consideration
What You'll Gain
- Exposure to full-scale brand and campaign design work
- Opportunity to shape visuals seen by thousands of prospective students
- Fast learning environment with real ownership
- A portfolio of meaningful, high-impact work
