At Blue Buddha, we don't just need pixels pushed. We need problems solved. We are looking for a Graphic Designer who understands that design has a job to do: it needs to tell a story and sell a product.
You will work alongside our Content Strategist and Social Media Manager to visually translate our brand strategy. From high-fashion editorial posts to high-conversion performance ads, you will be the visual architect of our digital presence.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)1. Performance Marketing & Ad Creatives
- Design to Convert: Create high-performance ad creatives for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads. You understand what makes a user stop scrollingstrong hooks, clear CTAs, and visual hierarchy.
- A/B Testing Mindset: You don't just fall in love with one design. You create variations (different headlines, colors, layouts) to test what drives the best CTR (Click-Through Rate) and ROAS (Return on Ad Spend).
- Data-Informed Design: Collaborate with the marketing team to understand which ads are working and why, then iterate on those winners.
2. Visual Storytelling & AI Integration
- AI-Enhanced Workflows: Use tools like Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, and Photoshop AI to generate hyper-realistic backgrounds, expand sets, or create editorial concepts that would be impossible to shoot physically.
- Campaign Planning: Don't just execute; ideate. Research global fashion trends, create detailed Mood Boards, and pitch visual directions for upcoming campaigns (e.g., Festive, End of Season Sale).
- Social & Web Identity: Own the visual language of our Instagram grid, LinkedIn presence, and website banners, ensuring a consistent Blue Buddha aesthetic.
3. High-End Retouching & Compositing
- Fashion Retouching: Execute pro-level photo manipulation and skin/fabric retouching. You know how to make a garment look premium without making it look fake.
- Compositing: Seamlessly blend studio product shots with AI-generated or stock environments to create lifestyle imagery.
4. Motion & Video Support
- Basic Video Editing: Handle lightweight video tasks (Reels covers, text overlays, simple motion graphics, resizing assets) to support the video team and keep the content engine moving.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 45 years in Graphic Design, preferably in Fashion, E-commerce, or a Digital Agency.
The Toolkit:
- Mastery: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Affinity Designer.
- AI: Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, or Adobe Firefly.
- Plus: Basic Premier Pro / After Effects / CapCut.
- The Performance Brain: You understand the difference between a pretty post and a converting ad. You know terms like Safe Zone, 4:5 vs 9:16, and Text-to-Image ratio.
- Problem Solver: You don't wait for instructions. If a brief is vague, you research, ask questions, and present 3 distinct visual solutions.
- Taste Level: You have a refined eye for typography, layout, and color theory specific to the fashion industry.
The Test (Portfolio Check)- Don't just show us logos. Show us:
- A Campaign: How you took one idea and adapted it for a Reel cover, a Story, and a Website Banner.
- Manipulation: Before/After of a retouched product or model.
- Performance: An ad creative designed specifically to get clicks.
