We require a Structural Engineer to provide structural engineering expertise on projects in India and the Middle East from our office in Navi Mumbai.
Working with a technical team that provides specialised services to our clients is a great opportunity for a design engineer to gain additional and more senior experience interacting with renowned national and international consultants on exciting projects in India and abroad.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Engineer / Associate in preparing concept, preliminary and detail designs.
- Carry out structural design and prepare construction drawings to Indian, British and American Standards.
- Coordinate with architects, building services engineers, and other structural engineers.
- Prepare markups for CAD technicians and check drawings when completed.
- Carry out arithmetical checks and independent design reviews of another engineer's design.
- Responsible for the correctness and accuracy of own work and the work of allocated CAD technicians.
- Ensure that allocated works are completed within the programme and allocated budget.
- Ensure senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions, and that the objectives of the company and the client are achieved.
- Give site backup on technical/design issues, where required.
- Visit sites to address design-related issues as and when required.
- Attend meetings with local authorities, and coordination meetings with other departments and Clients as and when required.
- Manage the statutory compliance of an organisation, and liaise with local authorities and government bodies.
- Mentor and assist Graduate Engineers
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety and quality management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in civil engineering or a Master's in structural engineering degree.
- 0 to 3 years post-master's or 2 to 5 years post-bachelor's degree experience in structural analysis and design.
- Competent in the use of software packages i.e. Etabs, Safe and the Microsoft suite of products.
- Familiar with Indian codes.
- Be commercially aware.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication, presentation and organisational skills.
- Have a flexible attitude to both the type of work undertaken and the level of responsibility accepted.
