Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and onboarding new suppliers in system with guidance of Buyer.

  • Help collect and analyze supplier quotations and prepare comparison reports.

  • Maintain and update vendor databases and procurement documentation.

  • Assist in preparing purchase orders and monitoring the delivery timeline with system activity.

  • Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, finance, quality) to ensure smooth procurement processes.

  • Ensure compliance with sourcing policies, contracts, and procurement guidelines.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain principles is a plus.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow within sourcing/procurement function.



Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.

  • Internship or academic project related to supply chain or sourcing.
