Job Description

We are looking for a Graduate Engineer Trainee to join our Global Hardware Support team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware systems used globally across our organization. This is an entry-level position ideal for fresh graduates or engineers early in their careers who have a passion for IT hardware and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support for hardware-related issues across desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
  • Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware problems reported by users or monitoring systems.
  • Work with global teams to ensure smooth hardware operations and timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of issues and solutions through ticketing systems.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and escalation processes.
  • Support regular hardware audits and inventory checks.

Required Skills:

  • A degree in Engineering (Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related fields).
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, networking concepts, and operating systems.
  • Good understanding of common troubleshooting methods for desktops, laptops, and other IT equipment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.

Good to Have:

  • Internship or academic project experience in IT support or hardware troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL practices.
