About The Role

Marmon GIC is looking for motivated fresh Mechanical Engineers. In this role, you will be given exposure to work with FEA/CFD and Design engineering projects

Position Overview

Marmon Global Innovation Center (GIC), a division of Marmon Holdings, is seeking Graduate Engineer Trainees for Simulation Center of Excellence team.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering (Engineering Drawing, Mechanics/Strength of Material, Manufacturing Process, Machine Design, etc.)
  • Certification or Training in Hypermesh or Ansys tools
  • Curious nature & Self-starter who can work under minimal guidance/ supervision
  • Flexible in adapting quickly to changing business needs, tasks, and project priorities

Desired Skills

  • Experience with any of the CAD tools like SolidWorks, Catia, UG NX.
  • Knowledge of CFD packages such as Ansys Fluent, StarCCM+, OpenFoam.
  • Basic knowledge of using Microsoft Office tools, namely Excel, Word & PowerPoint

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical /Automotive/ Thermal or a related field
  • 0-1 years of experience in CAE/CAD domain
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Projects involving Computational Fluid Dynamics and Finite Element analysis will be an added advantage
