Job Description

Purpose of Position

  • A Graduate Engineer supports engineering, operations, maintenance, and project teams by applying basic mechanical engineering principles to real‑world industrial problems, under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • We are seeking an experienced Mechanical / Metallurgy Engineer with a minimum of 0 to 1 years who will get self trained and trained by engineer in O&G, Steel plant equipment in inspection field like static equipment and piping.
  • The role focuses on learning, execution, and technical development, with increasing responsibility over time.
  • Eager to learn new things and take challenges.
  • The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.

. Major Responsibilities

  • Assist in design, analysis, and review of mechanical systems and equipment
  • Assist in inspection history, operation parameters of mechanical systems and equipment
  • Support in study of below and prepare the templates
    • Engineering drawings
    • Specifications
    • Datasheets
    • Calculation sheets
    • Assist in material selection
    • Filling of data loaders
  • Participate in shutdowns, inspections, or maintenance activities, if required
  • Observe and learn inspection techniques (VT, UT, PT, etc.)
  • Follow applicable codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, IS, etc.)
  • Adhere to HSE rules and safe work practices
  • Support preparation of inspection reports and compliance documentation
  • Participate in toolbox talks and safety observations

. Qualification &Technical Knowledge

B.E / B.Tech Mechanical / Metallurgy

  • Minimum 0 to 1 years of proven experience in structural design, with a focus on solar and wind structures, and industrial structures.
  • Strong understanding of topography, hydrology, and soil mechanics.
  • Experience in reviewing and interpreting geotechnical reports.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience:
  • 0 - 1 Years of experienc
  • AutoCAD / Drafting tools
  • MS Excel (engineering calculations)
  • Any exposure to:
  • SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor / CATIA/ ANSYS / Abaqus (basic exposure is sufficient)
