Primary Purpose Of Job
Stantec is looking for a Civil Engineer that can be a part of our growing team in our Pune office. Contribute to the ongoing growth of Stantec ResourceNet Private India Ltd by providing technical expertise in specialist areas of civil engineering and design. To be involved in the implementation and delivery of leading-edge programs and projects.
Support project managers/team leader by providing technical expertise to ensure that project outcomes in terms of profit, schedule, technical and quality standards, meet both the client and Stantec expectations.
Key Accountabilities
- Perform and assist with civil engineering design, including land development, wet utilities, stormwater drainage, for infrastructure works.
- Assist BIM Lead to deliver infrastructure projects, including preparing complete submission packages and quantities for project entitlement and construction documents.
- Technically deliver engineering drawings to meet client's requirements
- Maintain records of all QAQC documents
- Ensure compliance with Stantec's quality management process
- Ability to connect with Clients to manage service expectations and commitments
Person Specifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering AND OR Diploma in Civil Engineering
- more than 3 years of experience for bachelor's degree OR 5 years of relevant experience for Diploma candidates in various civil infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD 2D, MicroStation, OpenRoads for various skills including alignment, profiles, surface, grading and pipe networks
- Detailed design and engineering knowledge in all relevant areas of land development, site civil, wet utilities, and drainage infrastructure components of the projects
- Experience using common data environments, such as ProjectWise, Navisworks, BIM 360 etc. for coordinated model and clash detection, is preferred
- Ability to understand project requirements. Ability to take directions from senior engineers and execute them efficiently,
- Experience using Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
- Good communication skills, & ability to work under tight schedules
- Rigorous attention to detail, able to understand and adopt workflows
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff and technical specialists
