About the Job

The Sales Manager - Government Sales will lead Remidio's Government Sales team in driving revenue growth and expanding our footprint within the public healthcare sector. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on navigating government procurement processes, building strategic institutional relationships, and positioning Remidio's AI-powered ophthalmic screening solutions in large-scale public health programs across India and potentially global government markets.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed government revenue targets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Government Sales team, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional customer service and sales results.
• Identify, build, and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key government clients, ministries, public health departments, hospitals, and other stakeholders.
• Navigate and manage complex government procurement processes, tenders, RFPs, and regulatory requirements effectively.
• Continuously analyze market trends, government health policies, budget allocations, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance dashboards for senior management.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory, and Product) to ensure seamless solution deployment and customer success in government projects.
• Represent Remidio at government forums, health summits, and tender-related engagements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in Government Sales, preferably in the medical devices, healthcare technology, or diagnostic equipment sector.
• Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets in government/public sector business.
• Strong understanding of government procurement policies, GeM (Government e-Marketplace), tender processes, and public health procurement frameworks in India.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with experience in building and leading sales teams.
• Superior communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India as required.
