Role Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Government Sales professional to lead business development across assigned regions in the healthcare sector. The role involves driving sales of medical equipment, consumables, and pharmaceuticals through strong engagement with government institutions and stakeholders.

This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in government tenders and institutional sales.

Who Should Apply (Important Filter)

Candidates with 6–10 years of experience in Government/Institutional Sales

Exposure to GeM, CGHS, ESI, State Tenders, Medical Colleges, AIIMS, etc.

Strong network with government hospitals / district healthcare institutions

Do NOT apply if your experience is limited to retail, FMCG, or general B2C sales

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth through government healthcare accounts
  • Identify and onboard key stakeholders across government institutions (District Hospitals, CHCs, PHCs, Medical Colleges, etc.)
  • Manage and expand dealer/distributor networks in the region
  • Onboard OEM partners and secure exclusive product rights where possible
  • Handle end-to-end tendering process including identification, participation, and closure
  • Build strong relationships with hospital administrators, procurement heads, and government officials
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training across therapy areas
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and procurement cycles to drive strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams for order execution and customer satisfaction

Candidate Profile

  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in Government Healthcare Sales
  • Strong understanding of tendering processes and public procurement systems
  • Proven track record in institutional sales and deal closures
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently across regions
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or related field
