Role Purpose & Accountabilities:
We are seeking a Governance and Assurance Analyst to build and manage process documentation for English and Exams operations, ensuring sustainable, scalable, and efficient service delivery. This role involves connecting with the team to understand both stated and unstated needs, developing a proactive operations delivery model that remains relevant to business requirements. Driving a culture of continual improvement on the floor is key to fostering collaboration and operational effectiveness. The role is responsible for developing strategies to achieve process excellence while managing documentation and process maps that align with audit requirements and organizational consistency.
Acts as a governance and assurance expert for the process.
Is an expert in understanding of governance frameworks and encourage use of the new practices.
Analysing the effectiveness of the new knowledge management programs by observing its usage and evaluate its impact in terms of the organisational benefits.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Train the staff members audiot preparation and ensure effective implementation of knowledge management across delivery functions unit.
Encourage the staff and workers to share knowledge effectively and efficiently.
Interact with internal process owners to understand work functions and processes and gather information for improvement.
Maintain Master Document Control Listing and ensure compliance with documentation procedures.
Ensure all the Process Documents and relevant documents should be maintained in the repository.
Ensure appropriate processes and guidelines are established and implemented with respect to knowledge record retention/archival/deletion.
Work closely with Audit teams and ensure compliances with respect to documentation requirement of the processes.
Information Security and other mandatory compliances:
Read, understand and comply with the information security policies.
Raise incident / blow whistle when observe any noncompliance to information security or IELTS compliance related policies.
Ensure compliances to Organisational policies like code of conduct, IT policy etc.
Language Requirements
The British Council systems and global processes operate in English. Written and verbal proficiency in English is required
Education
A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
Role specific knowledge and experience:
Minimum/essential
Solid work experience as a governance and assurance analyst
Meet English language proficiency at a minimum level of IELTS band 7 or equivalent internationally recognised qualification - communication skills will also be judged in the voice and accent assessment round.
Applicant shall have experience of getting an organisation certified to ISO 9001:2015 and have experience in documenting procedures on service management principles
Subject matter expert with MS Office and MS Visio
Desirable
Demonstrable experience of working as part of a dispersed team to deliver a service
Demonstrable experience of reacting positively to change

Workplace type: 100% onsite work in Noida office
Work Schedule: This is a 24/7 on-site role with rotating shifts, including night shifts. The position offers two days off per week, which may not always fall on weekends. Flexibility and adaptability to a continuous shift-based environment are essential.
