Role Summary
We are looking for a Google Cloud Practitioner with foundational knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, cloud concepts, and best practices. The ideal candidate should understand cloud fundamentals, GCP core services, security, billing, and basic architecture, and be capable of supporting cloud-based solutions and environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and explain core Google Cloud concepts, including compute, storage, networking, and databases
- Assist in deploying, monitoring, and managing GCP resources
- Support cloud infrastructure setup using services like Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and App Engine
- Monitor cloud resources using Cloud Monitoring and Logging
- Assist with IAM roles, permissions, and basic security controls
- Support cost management, billing, and usage tracking in GCP
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support cloud-based applications
- Follow cloud best practices related to security, reliability, and scalability
- Document configurations, procedures, and cloud usage guidelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
- Knowledge of:
Compute Engine
Cloud Storage
Cloud Functions / App Engine
Cloud SQL / BigQuery (basic understanding)
- Understanding of IAM, security fundamentals, and compliance concepts
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (VPCs, firewalls, load balancing)
- Awareness of billing, pricing models, and cost optimization
- Good communication and documentation skills
