Role OverviewAs a Google Cloud Engineer at Keyy, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. This includes designing, implementing, securing, monitoring, and continuously improving our cloud infrastructure to support business operations and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on GCP
- Take full ownership of GCP setup, configuration, and architecture
- Implement best practices for cloud security, networking, and compliance
- Manage compute, storage, networking, and database services within GCP
- Monitor system performance, availability, and cost optimization
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform)
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high system uptime
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support application deployments
- Maintain documentation of infrastructure, processes, and configurations
Required Skills & Qualifications- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proficiency in services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Stackdriver / Cloud Monitoring)
- Understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and access control
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications- GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Associate Cloud Engineer)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid environments
- Experience in cost optimization and performance tuning
- Experience: Minimum 3 years
