Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
Google Apps Script and Microsoft Excel Online Specialist to design, migrate, and optimize application currently implemented using
Google Apps Script into
Microsoft Excel
Online using automation.
The role requires deep expertise in
Google script translation,
Excel/Sheets automation,
PDF generation,
email automation, and
permission-based data access, ensuring business continuity during platform migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.
Key Responsibilities
Automation & Workflow Design
- Design and implement Microsoft Excel Online Office script equivalent to complex Google Apps Scripts
- Translate Google Sheets logic (filters, loops, date-based conditions, triggers) into Excel Online + Automation (Power Automate)
- Build flows triggered via:
- Power Automate button
- Excel Online Office Scripts
- Scheduled / event-based triggers
Excel Online & Office Scripts
- Develop Office Scripts to:
- Activate sheets
- Apply filters
- Read cell values and ranges
- Identify last rows/columns dynamically
- Integrate Office Scripts with Power Automate for advanced logic execution
- Manage multi-sheet Excel workbooks with role-based access patterns
File & Document Automation
- Generate PDF files from Excel Online or any other M365 component
- Apply naming conventions using dynamic date/time logic
- Store generated files in SharePoint / OneDrive folders
- Manage file metadata and versioning
Email Automation
- Configure automated email distribution using:
- Outlook connector
- Conditional recipient logic
- PDF attachments
- Support multi-recipient and role-based email routing
- Ensure compliance with corporate email standards
Migration & Integration
- Migrate automation from:
- Google Apps Script
- Google Sheets
- Google Drive
- Integrate Microsoft services:
- Excel Online
- SharePoint Online
- Outlook
- Power Automate
- Power Platform
