Gold Loan Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Own P&L and overall business performance of the Gold Loan vertical for Maharashtra
• Manage and scale operations across 50 branches statewide
• Directly handle 45+ branches through Regional / Area Managers
• Build the gold loan book from ground zero acquisition, growth, and portfolio quality
• Drive branch productivity, disbursements, yields, and asset quality
• Set up strong sales, operations, and compliance frameworks
• Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing branch and regional leadership teams
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, audit, and risk policies
• Develop and execute market expansion and growth strategies
• Track performance metrics and implement corrective actions where required
• Coordinate with central teams on products, credit, risk, and operations

Key Requirements:

• 1215 years of experience in Gold Loan / Secured Lending business
• Mandatory experience in Gold Loan business (NBFC / Bank preferred)
• Proven track record of handling 40+ branches
• Experience in setting up and scaling a business/book from scratch
• Strong understanding of branch operations, credit, risk, and compliance
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and execution skills
• Prior experience managing large teams across geographies
• Maharashtra market exposure is a strong plus

Preferred Background:

• NBFCs / Banks with established Gold Loan portfolios
• Experience as State Head / Regional Head / Geography Head
• Strong local market understanding of Maharashtra
