Job Summary:
Ashapuri Gold Ornament Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Computer Operator to support daily operations in the gold jewellery department. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of gold ornaments, handling gold stock and inventory data, and ensuring smooth computer-based documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain daily gold jewellery stock records in the system
- Generate invoices, purchase entries, and sales bills
- Maintain inventory records including weight, purity, and design details
- Prepare reports related to stock, sales, and orders
- Handle barcode entries and product coding (if applicable)
- Coordinate with accounts and production departments
- Maintain proper documentation of orders and dispatch details
- Perform data backup and ensure data accuracy
- Handle emails and official correspondence
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate (Commerce preferred)
- Basic knowledge of gold jewellery terminology (weight, karat, wastage, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Experience with jewellery software (e.g., Alpha JShoft, Ornate, or similar) preferred
- Good typing speed and accuracy
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced jewellery environment
Experience:
- 13 years experience in jewellery field preferred
