About Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Engineer Golang to join the Enterprise Factory team. The role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices primarily supporting the Mobile Banking platform. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in GoLang, backend engineering, distributed systems, API development, cloud-native technologies, and modern software engineering

What You'll Do:
- You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices primarily supporting the Mobile Banking platform.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performance applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services, APIs, and microservices using GoLang
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Develop backend components and batch programs meeting quality, scalability, and timeliness goals
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to backend solution design
- Help build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployments across SIT, UAT, and Production environments
- Ensure application security, reliability, scalability, and performance optimization
- Analyze, debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in existing systems
- Complete unit testing and support integration testing activities
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA teams, and DevOps teams for successful project delivery
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Perform code reviews and ensure coding standards, maintainability, and technical documentation
- Mentor junior developers and support team capability building
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in GoLang development
- Strong experience in backend engineering and API development
- Experience in designing and developing scalable microservices architectures
- Proven experience in debugging and analyzing complex distributed systems
- Strong proficiency in GoLang
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with SQL databases and persistence layers
- Experience with NoSQL databases
- Experience with Message Queue / Kafka
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Understanding of secure coding standards and application security principles
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication
- Ability to understand and extract business logic from existing systems
- Passion for building scalable and resilient enterprise-grade applications
- All resources must be experienced in AI banking or keen to learn AI/ML aspects
- Educational Background: B.Tech / BE in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
