Job Summary

The Data Center Strategy Manager will lead end-to-end consulting services for clients data center portfolios, guiding them through capacity forecasting, site selection, and expansion strategies. You will optimize client designs for power efficiency and sustainability while directing cross-functional teams to deliver multi-year execution roadmaps. This role requires a visionary leader blending technical expertise with business acumen to ensure clients achieve strategic superiority and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end consulting engagements from ideation to delivery, spanning strategy, operational transformation, and digital change management.
  • Lead evaluations for new technologies like liquid cooling, 800G networking, and modular DC designs to support AI/GPU workloads.
  • Collaborate with clients finance, operations, and engineering teams to create CapEx/OpEx models, ROI analyses, and vendor RFPs for DC builds and upgrades.
  • Oversee sustainability initiatives, targeting PUE reductions, renewable energy integration, and compliance with global carbon regulations.
  • Manage a team of strategic consultants and analysts, mentoring on DC best practices and fostering innovation in edge and hyperscale environments.
  • Conduct risk assessments for supply chain, geopolitics, and resilience, recommending strategies for multi-region redundancy.
  • Present strategies to executive leadership and board, translating technical roadmaps into business impacts like TCO savings and uptime guarantees.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop future consultants through hiring, training, and upskilling efforts, building and inspiring high-performing diverse teams.
  • Contribute to Accenture's knowledge assets, white papers, and represent the practice at key events and industry bodies as a thought leader.

Preferred Skills


  • Proven track record managing DC portfolios valued at $500M+ in assets.
  • Deep expertise in DC metrics (PUE, WUE), architectures (spine-leaf, DCI), and tools (DCIM like Nlyte, Sunbird).
  • Experience with major vendors (e.g., Schneider, Vertiv, Arista, NVIDIA) and standards (Uptime Institute Tier certifications, LEED).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling (Excel, Tableau) and project management (e.g., PMP or Agile).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for C-level presentations.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies—AI, GenAI, Edge, Analytics, Cloud—and ability to drive their adoption in next-generation data centers.
  • Expertise in AI data center consulting demands (e.g., high-density racks, RDMA fabrics).
  • Knowledge of edge DC strategies and liquid immersion cooling (preferable).

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science or related field; Master's or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years in data center operations, strategy, or infrastructure, with 5+ years in leadership roles at hyperscalers, colocation providers, or operators.
