Designation: GM / Sr. Manager - Sales & Marketing (CDMO - Biologics)

Location: Remote | India (US Market Coverage)

Job Summary

A leading CDMO in the biologics space is seeking an experienced sales and business development professional to drive revenue growth for its biologics services in the US market. The role will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building a strong pipeline, strengthening client relationships, and working closely with internal stakeholders to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver sales targets for biologics services across the assigned US territory.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and territory planning.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing client accounts.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events to drive visibility, relationships, and deal flow.
  • Understand customer needs and position biologics capabilities through effective proposals and presentations.
  • Execute territory plans in collaboration with internal teams (Scientific, Proposals, Marketing, SCM, HR).
  • Lead client engagement, manage key stakeholder relationships, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely CRM updates, MIS reporting, and adherence to sales governance processes.
  • Manage sales budgets efficiently and support timely collections as per agreements.
  • Contribute to team development and stay current on industry, market, and biologics trends.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related disciplines preferred).
  • 6-12 years of total experience, with at least 6+ years in business development or sales within CDMO biologics.
  • Proven experience selling biologics services (e.g., antibodies, CMC, related offerings) to the US market.
  • Strong capabilities in territory development, account management, negotiation, and sales forecasting.
  • Excellent communication skills, customer orientation, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders and execute go-to-market strategies.
