Job Description
- Lead the full spectrum of India operations across two key locations, overseeing manufacturing, supply chain, quality, engineering, sales, and support functions.
- Drive operational performance to achieve KPIs across product quality, cost efficiency, ontime delivery, productivity, and engineering excellence.
- Own the P&L, manage working capital, and ensure strong financial discipline across production and commercial activities.
- Develop longterm business strategies and execute key initiatives aligned with global objectives and market opportunities.
- Optimise production efficiency through reduction of downtime, improved workflow, labour optimisation, and cost reductions across manufacturing.
- Achieve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) targets and lead automation/digitalization initiatives to upgrade plant performance.
- Partner closely with Sales teams to ensure effective S&OP processes, smooth demand planning, and customer fulfilment.
- Ensure continuous compliance with ARC standards and other external audits, while maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
- Embed a strong culture of ownership, collaboration, quality, and innovation across plant and office teams.
- Mentor and lead multifunctional teams, driving capability development, performance excellence, and succession planning.
- Lead strategic customer engagements alongside Sales to enhance operational credibility, technical support, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and implement process improvements, technical upgrades, engineering solutions, and productivity initiatives to support business growth.
The Successful Applicant
- 15+ years of experience in RFID manufacturing, electronics production, packaging technologies, printing/labeling operations, or adjacent industries with at least 10 years in senior management roles.
- Strong technical foundation in operations, plant management, RFID production engineering, supply chain planning, quality management, costing, and production optimisation.
- Proven experience managing manufacturing units of 300-400 employees and business sizes around USD 20M+.
- Strong understanding of RFID technology, digital identification, packaging processes, and material flows (or proven ability to ramp up quickly).
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing multifunctional teams across operations, technical, supply chain, quality, and sales support.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to guide sales strategy, customer engagements, and operational service delivery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to interface with global leadership teams.
- Demonstrated track record of driving operational efficiency, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
