We are seeking an experienced Sales / Business Development professional with a strong engineering background and proven international exposure. This role will drive global sales for our Engineering services across Bulk and Specialty chemicals, Industrial Manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential clients across international markets Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa, and the America.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects including EPCs, consultants, OEMs, and plant owners.
- Market/ Position engineering services as competitive, high-value outsourcing options.
- Represent the company in virtual meetings, client presentations, and global RFP processes.
- Participation in exhibitions, conferences and market scanning activities
- Coordinate / Collaborate with internal engineering teams to develop techno-commercial proposals.
- Optimize and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to deal /contract closure.
- Track leads and opportunities.
- Understand and analyze global market trends and propose strategies to enter or expand into new regions / expansion strategies.
- Cultivate long-term client relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Use data-driven insights for forecasting, pipeline visibility, and decision-making.
Required Profile:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in chemistry or engineering (preferably Chemical or Mechanical).
- MBA in Marketing or International Business is an advantage.
- Experience:
- Minimum 510 years in B2B sales for engineering services or technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience dealing with international clients.
- Skills:
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong email, presentation, and virtual communication skills
- Understanding of Chemical processes and engineering services like process design, P&IDs, data sheets, instrumentation, etc.
- Good commercial negotiation and proposal writing skills
- Good ability to develop market intelligence and database
- Familiarity with project cycles in EPC or industrial projects
- Comfortable working across multiple time zones
- CRM tool experience (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce) is a plus
