Job Summary

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Payroll Operations

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries/regions.
  • Ensuretimelyandaccuratepayroll execution, including salaries, bonuses, incentives, and deductions.
  • Validate payroll inputs such as attendance, leave, overtime, and variable pay components.

Compliance & Statutory Adherence

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, social security, and statutory filings.
  • Track regulatory changes and supporttimelyimplementation.
  • Assistwith internal and external payroll audits and compliance reviews.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with payroll service providers and internal HR teams to ensure smooth payroll execution.
  • Act as a liaison between HR, Finance, and vendors to resolve payroll-related issues.

Payroll Accounting & Reporting

  • Support payroll accounting activities including reconciliations and month-endclose.
  • Prepare payroll reports, variance analysis, andmanagementdashboards.
  • Assistwith payroll accruals and general ledger postings.

Employee Support

  • Address employee queries related to payroll, pay slips, taxes, and deductions.
  • Ensure adherence to payroll service standards and timelines.

Process Improvement

  • Identifyopportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation.
  • Support payroll system enhancements, testing, and implementation activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience

  • 36 years of experience inGlobal Payroll or Multi-country Payroll operations.
  • Exposure to payroll processing for regions such asIndia, APAC, EMEA, or Americasis preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree inCommerce,Accounting, Finance, HR, or Business Administration.

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems such asADP, Workday, SAP Payroll, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • StrongproficiencyinMS Excel(Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, payroll reconciliations).
  • Good understanding of payroll accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with payroll vendors or shared services environments.
  • Knowledge of payroll controls and audit processes (SOX exposure is a plus).
  • Strong communicationskills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
