What You'll Do

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of the technical architecture supporting new and evolving business processes, with a focus on SAP S/4 Hana Public Cloud as BCG's global ERP platform. You will partner closely with the SAP Product Team Lead, SAP Technical Team Lead, and Product Owners to define the roadmap for the SAP platform. You will partner closely with the Portfolio Lead Architect and other solution architects to define the architecture roadmap for the entire Finance and Procurement product portfolio. You will leverage industry best practices and your hands-on knowledge of SAP to best serve BCG's business needs.

This role will focus on solution architecture activities for the core SAP solution as well as perform all other related tasks, such as:

• Working with product teams and vendors to ensure effective end-to-end solution design, architecture, and configuration of the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud system.
• Partnering closely with Enterprise Architecture and fellow Solution Architects to make key design decisions.
• Overseeing the integration of SAP systems with other enterprise applications and managing integration strategies using tools like SAP BTP and APIs.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and quality assurance, while establishing secure SAP architectures with strong authentication, data protection, and risk mitigation for performance, sovereignty, and vendor risks.
• Creating referenceable architecture artifacts and coaching teams in the same practice.
• Leading performance tuning efforts, monitoring system health, and providing technical guidance to optimize efficiency and functionality.
• Ensuring proper root cause analysis and remediation are executed during any issues or incidents.
• Partnering with data and integration architects to ensure continuity of designs across teams with clear communication of design implications for downstream environments.
• Ensuring adherence to SAP development standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines. Guiding technical aspects of projects, including upgrades, migrations, and implementations, and providing technical leadership to teams.
• Working collaboratively with teams to support the current application environment.

• Defining and co-creating the SAP data architecture, aligning strategic objectives with data governance, residency, storage and archival best practices.

• Leading SAP solution and technology roadmaps, embedding AI/ML capabilities, automation, and emerging technologies (e.g., SAP BTP, intelligent enterprise services).

What You'll Bring

• College degree and 8 or more years of work experience in SAP and the related ecosystem, with minimum 3 years of experience in S/4 HANA public cloud.
• Language and global skills: High fluency English, global experience preferred
• Extensive experience with SAP systems, particularly S/4HANA.
• Deep understanding of SAP architecture particularly 3-Tier landscape
• Experience with cloud technologies and SAP's cloud offerings (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform, SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud).
• Knowledge of SAP development technologies, such as ABAP, Fiori, and SAPUI5
• Experience with system upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best-practice guidance to project and development teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex SAP Cloud solutions.
• Willingness and ability to create detailed solutions and troubleshoot issues when needed
• Experience in agile development environments with all aspects of SDLC
• Good understanding of security best practices from development and deployment perspective
• Strong technical competence, with the ability to rapidly learn new tools and technologies
• Flexibility and entrepreneurial spirit to adapt easily to changing requirements and priorities
• Preferred SAP certifications in S/4HANA Public Cloud or SAP BTP
• Knowledge Professional services and financial modules, such as Projects, AP, AR, FA, GL, DRC, Multi-ledger, Multi Currency configuration.
