What You'll Do

As a Global IT Platform Engineer Senior Specialist, you will support and evolve enterprise planning capabilities across Oracle EPM Cloud platforms. You will work closely with Finance, Data Engineering, and global technology teams to deliver scalable planning solutions that improve forecasting accuracy, operational efficiency, and business decision-making.

In this role, you will combine platform engineering expertise with strong analytical problem-solving capabilities to support planning operations, optimize system performance, and strengthen data integrity across enterprise platforms. You will contribute to ongoing platform modernization initiatives while helping teams deliver reliable, high-quality planning and reporting outcomes.

• Design, configure, and maintain Oracle EPM Cloud Planning applications, and EPBCS
• Translate business planning requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Develop and manage business rules, calculation scripts, dashboards, and data forms
• Build and optimize SQL queries, views, and transformations to support planning processes
• Build, maintain, and manage SQL queries to support planning month end processes.
• Integrate and reconcile data across Oracle EPM Cloud, Snowflake, and upstream systems
• Integrate data between EPM Cloud and source systems using SQL and Snowflake.
• Perform advanced reporting and data analysis using Smart View
• Partner with Finance, Data Engineering, and IT teams to improve planning operations and data quality
• Contribute to automation, continuous improvement, and scalable platform enhancements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Data Engineering, and IT.

What You'll Bring

• 6-9 years of Oracle EPM Cloud or Hyperion Planning experience
• Strong expertise in PBCS and EPBCS application development
• Advanced SQL development and query optimization capabilities
• Hands-on Snowflake experience supporting enterprise-scale data environments
• Experience supporting financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and maintain high data accuracy
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills

Who You'll Work With

You will work within BCG's global technology ecosystem, partnering closely with Finance, enterprise platform teams, Data Engineering, and IT stakeholders across regions. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to support planning operations, improve platform reliability, and deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

You will also work alongside technical specialists and business partners to strengthen planning capabilities, improve reporting quality, and support ongoing platform modernization initiatives in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

• Preferred qualifications include:
• Experience with Groovy scripting in Oracle EPM Cloud
• Exposure to REST APIs
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Oracle EPM Cloud certification
• Exposure to enterprise-scale planning implementations
• Experience supporting multi-currency or multi-entity financial models
