Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage the Vendor and Asset Management function, ensuring services are defined, prioritized, funded, governed, and perform against agreed business, financial, and service outcomes across the full lifecycle, including compliance, optimization, and strategic vendor relationship management. Each day, you will be accountable for managing high-value vendor relationships, optimizing software and hardware asset utilization, and ensuring compliance with licensing and governance standards. You will also showcase your expertise by driving organizational efficiency through process improvements, risk mitigation, and strategic planning that aligns vendor relationships with business objectives.
The work model for the role is: Li-hybrid

This role is contributing to the Information Systems Function, globally.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Managing high-value vendor relationships and contracts, overseeing vendor performance reviews, contract negotiations, and maintaining preferred vendor lists while aligning the vendor ecosystem with governance models and strategic organizational goals.
  • Defining, owning, implementing, and continuously improving Vendor Management governance frameworks, processes, policies, standards, KPIs, and controls, ensuring performance transparency, compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
  • Overseeing software and hardware asset lifecycle management, including license compliance, asset data accuracy, lifecycle data retention, and audit support, while minimizing organizational exposure to license non-compliance and contractual risks.
  • Accountable for budget planning, forecasting, and financial control for vendor and asset management functions (managing USD 100M in assets/licenses), including transparency of actuals, accruals, and resource allocation, while leading and mentoring teams to ensure successful execution of IS strategy and objectives.


Qualifications for the role

  • You have10+ years of experiencein IT Asset Management, Vendor Management, Procurement, or related senior leadership roles within global organizations, with proven success in managing complex vendor ecosystems and asset portfolios.

  • You arehighly skilledin vendor management frameworks, software and hardware asset lifecycle management, license compliance, and IT governance, with deep knowledge of enterprise IT service management and procurement practices.
  • Highly adeptin ITSM frameworks (ITIL 4 preferred), contract management, asset discovery tools, and business analytics platforms used to manage vendor performance, asset data, and compliance metrics.
  • You arepassionate about stakeholder engagement, strategic collaboration, and driving organizational transformation, with a proven ability to foster trust and co-innovation with senior executives, strategic vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experiencein risk management, process optimization, change management, and financial planning within IT operations, including budget accountability and complex multi-vendor relationship management.
  • Bachelor's degreein Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field ITIL 4 certification is highly desirable.
  • You areat ease communicating in English additional language skills are an advantage.
